Empath Personal Care is seeking dedicated, caring, and compassionate Home Health Aides to care for our clients during daytime hours within their home. We are committed to providing excellent care for our patients/clients and a rewarding work environment for our colleagues.

**$1,000 Sign-On Bonus** An additional $5,000 sign on bonus is offered to any candidate who is relocating from more than 50 miles away from the Empath Personal Care service area for this position**

**Base pay: $15.00 with the ability to earn up to $19.00 per hour depending on client**

What We Are Looking For:

Day shifts

• Caregivers who can service Bradenton/Sarasota or Sarasota/Venice
• Must be available either every Saturday, every Sunday, or Every other weekend
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM availability
• Full time available with 6 days of availability per week.
• If not full time, must be able to meet the PRN agreement.

12-hour days

• Caregivers who can service Bradenton, Sarasota, and Venice
• Preferably 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but will also take 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Must be available either every Saturday, every Sunday, or Every other weekend
• Full time (benefits) available if you can travel within service area and must be available for 4 days a week at a minimum.
• If not full time, must be able to meet the PRN agreement

Evenings

• Caregivers who can service Bradenton/Sarasota or Sarasota/Venice
• 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM availability
• Must be able to meet the PRN agreement.

Overnights

• Caregivers who can service Bradenton, Sarasota, and Venice
• Preferably 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, but will also take 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Must be available either every Saturday, every Sunday, or Every other weekend
• Full Time (benefits) available if you can also dedicate 28 hours of daytime availability and must be able to travel with in service area.
• If not full time, must be able to meet the PRN agreement.

Qualifications:

• HHA Certificate (40+ hour) or CNA license preferred
• CPR Certification required (in-house classes available if needed)
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in healthcare/home health preferred
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Must have valid Florida Driver License and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel within the service area
