We are looking for compassionate Medication Technicians to provide assistance with self administration of medication to our residents in our Assisted Living/Memory Care Community in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Self Administration of simple prescribed medications
• Assist with residents personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
• Maintain resident care records and document provided services
• Assist residents with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Instruct and counsel residents and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills

• Proven working experience as medication technician
• Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Nursing and health care administration skills
• Caring and compassionate personality
• Current CPR certificate
• First Aid training
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
