Noble Senior Living at Pensacola is seeking applicants for a Facility Maintenance (FM) Technician. We are recruiting a Facility Maintenance Technician to complete a variety of carpentry, maintenance, and painting. Applicant must have a valid Driver License with no major violations, be able to pass a DCF Level II criminal background check, and a Tuberculosis (TB) test. PROFESSIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with associates at all levels including management and external vendors/contractors, and client/patients. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., climb ladders and be on your feet for long periods of time. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, adapt readily to change of work schedule, environment and work well under pressure. Must be detail oriented, professional and motivated. Must be able to excel in a labor intensive environment. Must be able to follow through on tasks to completion and thorough documentation skills. DUTIES\RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. General building maintenance with limited supervision. 2. Perform corrective maintenance and repair of basic plumbing, carpentry, specialty items such as doors, locks, door closures, furniture, and other general repair work. 3. Respond to maintenance request calls and process Work Order (WO) requests as required. 4. Perform preventive maintenance work in its entirety, including repairing and maintaining the facilities, consistent with Policies, Procedures, and Protocols. 5. Repair or make recommendations to their Direct Report on any defective equipment or facilities in his / her area of responsibility. 6. Inspection and corrective maintenance of Utility Systems, as needed. 7. Assist with building housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and trash disposal, as needed. 8. Ensure safe working conditions are being maintained in areas under his / her care and be able to respond immediately to emergency situations and safety concerns. 9. Understands how to safely use the tools, equipment, and chemicals necessary to maintain buildings, grounds, and fixtures. 10. Replaces light bulbs / lamps, ballasts, and cleans fixtures. 11. General labor including, office moves, loading / unloading, moving materials, repair and paint, and running errands for projects. 12. Patch, repair, and paint duties. 13. Provide facilities support for event set-ups, movement and resetting of furniture. 14. Proficient in reading diagrams / instructions and assemble furniture / workstations to specification. 15. Excellent communication skills, email, and quick response time.
