ABOUT Number One Lab LLC
Number One Lab LLC is a CLIA certified Molecular Diagnostics testing laboratory for infectious diseases that offers turnaround times of 24 hours or less that help improve people’s health. The laboratory currently performs testing across a broad spectrum of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests. Number One Lab LLC is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their sales team remotely. We are focused on providing superior COVID-19 testing nationwide while expanding our infectious disease menu. As we push forward, we are positioned to provide nationwide testing, calling on various types of customers. The prospective customers include but are not limited to clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, primary care physicians, government agencies, employers, and schools. We’re always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Develops and builds relationships with physicians, urgent cares, nursing homes, labs, and other medical providers to promote products and services offered by Number One Lab LLC. The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for building/maintaining a base of physician clients to achieve/exceed sales targets in the assigned territory. Specifically, the Direct Sales Representative assures profitable sales growth of Number One Lab LLC products and services within assigned territory via face-to-face sales engagements. May conduct marketing surveys, effectiveness reviews of calls/sales activities, and territory analysis. Develops and services new and established accounts, suggests and presents new diagnostic tests. As appropriate, assists marketing personnel with advertising and promotional sales strategies.

Job Duties

  • Develops, builds, and maintains relationships, consistent with the Mission and Values of Number One Lab LLC, with physicians and other medical providers to increase awareness and promote products and services offered.
  • Responsible for achieving/exceeding sales quotas for the complete menu of diagnostic tests and services for a sales territory primarily via face-to-face customer engagements.
  • Prioritizing daily activities (effective pre-call planning) to have efficient/productive selling days.
  • Clearly communicates the features/benefits of services to create a new client and/or increase specimen submission/sales from existing clients.
  • Builds and executes business plans in partnership with management to identify, target, and develop new accounts.
  • Performs post-call analysis and plans strategy for a follow-up call
  • Effectively uses marketing materials during presentations and as leave-behind messages.
  • Communicates with direct supervisor daily and responds to requests immediately
  • Collects and studies information about the new and existing diagnostic test and monitors competitor sales, prices, and services.
  • Analyses sales statistics; prepares reports; and performs required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans.
  • May attend trade shows where new products and technologies are showcased and conferences to meet other sales representatives and clients and discuss new product developments.
  • Operates within established expense budgets and guidelines.
  • Counter any potential objections that could arise from potential clients
  • Prioritize high profile clients by size, volume, and potential for growth opportunities
  • Remains current on developments in field(s) of expertise.
  • Attends state, regional, and national trade shows as applicable.
  • Resolves and/or facilitates resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Performs related duties, on occasion, as assigned or required.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Two + years of outside sales experience utilizing consultative selling skills, preferably in the laboratory/medical/healthcare industry
  • Ability to work with and direct others effectively; ability to prepare and present strong written and verbal communications; familiarity with medical operations, and procedures.
  • Documented record and/or aptitude for delivering sales/marketing information to influence customer decision-making
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, physicians, hospital administrators, government agencies, medical groups, and other sales representatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, sales, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and relevant applications.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory


Critical Skills/Expertise:

  • Demonstrated consultative selling skills and experience with documented high-performing results
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex medical diagnostic tests
  • Proficient in the use of CRM/business analytics to ensure proper focus on high-value activities
  • Polished verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, well-organized, motivated team player

Qualifications

  • Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • Work authorization (Preferred)

Pay

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
  • Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000 per year plus commission
