DSP (Direct Support Professional) Full-time Job

Do you have at least 2 years of caregiver experience? At Milestones of Excellence, we are a non-medical home health agency. We specialize in In-Home and In-Community care for Persons with Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, ALS, and other mental or physical limitations.

We are looking to schedule interviews this WEEK for outstanding Care Providers. This position pays $15/hr.

Responsibilities/Activities:

• Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including:
• Ensure client’s safety and security by supervising the home environment.
• Teach/perform meal planning and preparation, routine housekeeping activities such as making/changing beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, and laundry.
• Provide companionship including social interactions, conversations, emotional reassurance, and encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind.
• Provides respite or personal support care for families in accordance with care plans.
• Assisting client's safety in exploring the community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Valid Level 2 background clearance
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 5 hours a day, 5 days a week
• Monday to Friday
• Hours: 1:30pm to 6:30pm
