WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a key part of our Operations team, the Superintendent (Community Manager) is in constant communication with their Project Manager (PM), and on-site partners while managing multiple construction projects, meeting important deadlines, and balancing competing priorities.
Reporting to a regional manager, the Superintendent oversees renovation, unit turn, or repair projects through the critical stages of pre, mid, and post-construction. This is a 1099 "Contract" position starting at $250/day. This position will primarily work at a fixed location (a Senior Living Community); however, some travel will be required.
This will be continuous and consistent work.
YOU’LL BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:
- Have a sound understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to the design, layout, and supervision of construction operations.
- Have thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods.
- Are able to oversee the entire construction process from mobilization through closeout.
- Are able to coordinate project schedule and subcontractor activities seamlessly.
- Are able to monitor construction projects and ensure quality work and successful and timely completion.
- Are able to effectively communicate details of the project with various stakeholders.
- Are able to maintain a safe and clean work environment including on-site meetings.
- Coordinate with PM on administrative aspects of the job.
- Are able to assemble sub-contractor teams or construction crews.
- Have experience with commercial projects valued at $2-10 million.
- Have extensive experience as a Superintendent (8 or more years).
- Have mid-level data entry skills sufficient to upload information and pictures into a project management software system.

SCHEDULE:
- 10 hour shift / 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
- 4 hour shift / 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Saturday
- Actual work schedule may vary based on project deadlines, delays, etc.
