Job Duties Include:

• Performs cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy.
• Observes waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.
• Assists in proper care of housekeeping equipment.
• Uses housekeeping supplies efficiently.
• Observes infection control procedures related to Housekeeping Department.
• Reports for work in neat, clean attire and consistently presents an appropriate professional appearance.
• Reports for work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
• Consistently works cooperatively with residents, residents’ representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing director when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the colleague must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length, lift to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis. Push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 150 pounds on a regular and continuing basis. Must also be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks, and to exert well-paced ability in limited space.

All candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and a level two background check.
