We are seeking a Pantry Cook/Prep Cook to join our team! The ideal candidate will have full availability. The shift is 5 days per week from 11AM - 8:00PM with 2 consecutive days off. The rate of pay is based on experience.

The Pantry Cook/Prep Cook can plate all menu items for service and displays basic food prep skills. They will assist in preparation of all meals and perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. They may also have dessert capabilities.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least one (1) year food service experience in a commercial setting.
· Individuals must also be able to read, write, and speak the English language and be able to communicate effectively with residents, family, and staff.
Essential Functions
- Follows all prep lists created by chefs to plan duties.
- Labels and stocks all ingredients on shelves so that everything is organized and easily accessible.
- Measures out ingredients and seasonings to be used.
- Prepares cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
- May undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, boiling food, preparing salads, etc.
- Adherence to all sanitation, food handling, safety policies, procedures and authorities.
- Remove from service all cracked or broken dishes or damaged utensils which might be hazardous to residents and staff. Notify the Food Service Director of damage.
- Assure that all food & beverage protocols and procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Maintain personal appearance and hygiene standards according to established procedures.
- Stores dishes, glassware, and utensils properly.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
