Nurse Practitioner Part-time Job

Bliss Specialty is seeking a part-time NP to see patients in Assisted Living facilities in Eustis, Ocoee, Apopka, and Clermont. Bliss Specialty is a growing mobile physicians’ group that rounds in skilled nursing facilities, as well as ALF/ILF’s. We specialize in the care of complex patients and strive to deliver expert, personalized care to everyone. Out in the field, you will work closely with Assisted Living staff in ensuring the health and safety of our patients.

Responsibilities Include:

Performing face-to-face encounters with the patients.

Collecting and assessing patient care data, developing and implementing a plan of care, managing and evaluating the outcome of care.

Providing patients and/or families with health education, counseling, and referrals to other healthcare professionals and community resources when appropriate.

Participating in case management.

Ordering treatments and durable medical equipment as indicated.

Administrative work is completed onsite or at your home office.

Who is an ideal candidate? Someone who is:

· EMR proficient.

· Highly organized

· Detail-oriented

· Great communicator (verbal and written)

· Enjoys geriatric patients

· Works well independently

· Timely with documentation

• 2+ year experience (preferred)
• Current NPI # required
• Nurse Practitioner with current license
• Must have obtained Medicare billing privileges as a nurse practitioner.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
