Company Description. Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay Community is a state-of-the-art senior living company focused on pioneering upscale Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care.

We are seeking. We are seeking Full-time Cooks. You will be serving as a Cook for our beautiful community which consist of 130 units in a magnificent 130,000 square foot community.

Job Description:

• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per Policy and Procedure.
• Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service such as quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance; and conducts evaluations to make revisions in operations / procedures to promote improved food service.
• Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality service.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED), training and experience preferred.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years restaurant/ senior living or equivalent cooking experience required.
• Knowledge preparation and line production communication and supervision to cook/prep/dish person/management staff.
• Must hold current state-required sanitation (Safe Food Handling and/or Certified Food Manager) certification/license.
