Direct Care Staff Full-time Job

Assisted Living of Florida Ltd Inc. is hiring and we offer great pay!!
We are currently hiring for 2 openings available for the Direct Care Staff in our Seminole Gardens non medical Group Homes in the Seminole Largo area. MUST BE RELIABLE, ON TIME, AND READY TO WORK! Must pass a level II background screening, complete and maintain required APD trainings (we will provide). We are looking for enthusiastic, kind, fun energetic people with a teamwork mindset!

The shifts we have available are:
2nd shift- 2p-9p ( Mon-Fri).

Night Shift- 9p-8a (Mon- Thur.)

Weekends 10pm FRIDAY- 9pm SUNDAY. Staff stay on-sight for the whole weekend shift.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Direct care staff, 1 year (Required)
• Caregiving/direct patient care, 1 year (Required)
• Pass Level II Background check

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Location:

• Seminole, FL/ Largo, FL/ Clearwater, FL

Certificates:

• Direct Core Competency (Preferred/will be trained if necessary))
• Driver's License (Preferred)
• HIV/AIDS (Preferred/will be trained if necessary)
• CPR/First Aid (Preferred/will be trained if necessary)
• Zero Tolerance (Preferred/will be trained if necessary)
• Medication Administration (Preferred/will be trained if necessary)
• Level 2 Background Clearance & Local Background (Preferred)
• HIPAA (Preferred/will be trained if necessary)
• PCM (Preferred/will be trained if necessary)
• Behavioral Assistant (Preferred/will be trained if necessary)

Job Description:

• Assisted Living of Florida is seeking direct care personnel. We are looking for caring and dependable individuals to work with persons with developmental disabilities in our group homes.
• Duties will include assistance with daily living skills and supervision in the home and out in the community. Support will be needed for cooking, cleaning, bathing, and other daily activities.
• Must be able to fill out daily activities sheets and reports.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have strong work ethic and be prompt to work shift.
• Must have experience working in behavioral group homes.
