We are the leading provider of home care services recognized for Creating Raving Fans and Delivering Exceptional Outcomes. We are currently looking for full and part-time Home Health LPNs for our Ft Myers/Lee County, FL, territory.
- Skills: IVs, Wound care, Wound vac, Foley Catheters, Trach Care, Diabetic Care, Colostomy
- Availability: Monday through Friday Day Shift; One Weekend a Month On Call Rotation
- Location: Ft Myers, Lehigh Acres/Lee County FL
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Performs selected skilled actions in the provision of curative, rehabilitative, palliative or preventative nursing care.
- Is responsible and accountable for making decisions that are based on the individual's nursing experience and educational preparation.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Must be licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
- One or more years in an acute/sub-acute care facility. Home health experience preferred.
- IV Certification is preferred, but not required.
- One weekend a month on call a must.
- The ability to communicate well both written and verbally.
- The ability to access clients’ homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible is required.
