We are seeking an Activities Professional to oversee the therapeutic and recreational activities for our Assisted Living Community.
You will be required to develop activities that are appropriate and engaging for your residents. You will often work with other staff to develop and implement programs to promote Hampton Manor to the outside community.
In addition to overseeing the activities, you must implement and execute the day-to-day operations of the program. You will be required to attend meetings, perform budgeting functions, create promotional materials and conduct surveys or needs assessments.
You must have a passion for working with and assisting elderly populations as well as strong leadership skills. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the job are extremely important. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to exercise judgment.
Core Skills:

Core Skills:
- Proficient computer skills.
- Budgeting experience.
- CPR licensed and trained in first aid.
- Experience working in geriatric settings, such as Assisted Living Communities, Nursing Homes, or Senior Centers.
- Physically able to perform duties such as standing for long periods, squatting, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
