Housekeeping/Laundry Aide Full-time Job

We are looking for individuals with skill, ability and compassion to fulfill our full-time and part-time Housekeeping/Laundry Aide positions. • Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, restrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Participates in annual cleaning schedules.
• Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
• Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: The ability to read, write, speak clearly and follow written and oral instructions.

Other Skills and Abilities: Must be aware and understand the needs of the elderly. Must be thoroughly familiar with all policies and procedures of the facility.

Work Environment: This job position requires moderate physical demands. Duties may include frequent walking, stooping/kneeling/bending, lifting/carrying, and pushing/pulling during work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Assisted Living Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
• Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
