Open a new chapter of inspired care as a Physical Therapist on the UF Health Shands HomeCare team serving patients throughout the greater Gainesville, Florida region.

This part-time PRN role will allow you to extend the reach of our academic care facilities by providing physical therapy service and recovery support for our home-based patients. You’ll be able to apply your extensive training, professional knowledge and skills to meet our patients where they are in their recovery journey to help them achieve their individualized recovery goals. Here you’ll work with the Director of Rehabilitation, a full home health nursing staff and a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver coordinated, defined care that has measurable outcomes.

We’re seeking Florida-licensed Physical Therapists with at least one year of PT practice experience, preferably in a home care setting. Candidates should have good organizational and communication skills, ability to function with minimal supervision, and a reliable means of transportation to be able to provide care in our patient’s home setting. Applicants must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position.

Our PRN Physical Therapists receive competitive compensation of $40.00/hour.
