Director of Sales and Community Outreach

What You Will Do:

· Establish goals oversee the daily operations of the department to attain or maintain targeted occupancy levels. Maintain compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of departmental activities.

· Plan ads, newsletters, and other advertising and public relations materials. Interface with the media outlets regarding interviews and press releases.

· Plan, update and conduct sales and marketing presentations. Provide tours of the facility as part of strategic sales initiative.

· Develop and actively participate in the Outreach Program by providing necessary resources, building contacts, creating awareness and garnering goodwill overall.

· Plan and monitor the Move-in program to ensure the highest level of coordination and communication with new residents and their families.

· Supervise, schedule, evaluate, and counsel the staff of the sales and marketing department.

· Monitor coordination of department services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care. Coordinate with other staff members in scheduling events and use of facilities.

· Identifies professional referral sources and key decision makers in the primary and secondary markets. Pre-qualifies referral sources to determine their ability to send qualified leads to the community.

· Visits and conducts presentations to area referral sources and key decision makers. Establishes and maintains a professional relationship so that they will be comfortable referring their contacts to the community.

· Develops a formal relationship-marketing plan in conjunction with the community’s marketing team. The plan will define “priority accounts” in the primary and secondary market, establish referral goals, and determine the sales activity necessary to maintain these accounts.

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Why You Are Qualified:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university, with major work in marketing or related field required.
  • At least three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience in marketing, the senior living care industry, or related field required.
  • Valid state driver’s license (and liability insurance) to use personal vehicle for Marketing travel required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
