Companion/Caregiver Part-time Job

Companion caregiver for male with Alzheimer’s. Care provider for male in his 60s who is in mid stage of Alzheimer’s. Experienced with dementia or Alzheimer’s and caregiving needed. Looking for caregiver that can keep gentlemen engaged. Companion care for driving to appointments and staying active. Looking for consistency and reliability. Willing to be flexible with the right care provider. This gentleman enjoys bike riding, pickle ball and music. The companion caregiver should be comfortable with the family pet, a standard poodle. This gentleman was diagnosed 4 years ago and his wife has been his main caregiver. She is hoping for some much-needed support. The companion caregiver should also be willing to assist with the day-to-day care assisting this gentleman ‘s wife with keeping his room tidy, preparing a simple lunch or meal and light house duties. Someone who enjoys the same things may be a very good fit. Flexibility to do occasional overnights would be a big plus but would NOT be a deal breaker! Work and smoke-free home. Must have reliable transportation willing to be CPR and first aid certified Willing to submitt to full background screening and have references. Must have clean background and good driving record.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
