Collections/Billing Specialist Full-time Job

Job description

Nurse Registry -Home Care agency located in West Palm Beach, Florida is hiring a Billing & Collections specialist. We are looking for an individual who is a team player, motivated, and looking to join a great team.

Job Duties

• Experience in Billing and Collections a must
• Have authorization knowledge
• Posting of charges in variety of clearing house portals
• Monitoring accouts to identify overdue payments
• Experience in analyzing and correcting rejected payment issues
• Knowledge on resubsmission of claims
• Keeping accurate records and reporting on collections activity
• Initiating corrections via rebills or projects
• Reporting on collections activity
• Working closely with patients, insurance companies - Managed Long Term Care
• Knowledge of HHA Exchange System (a plus)
• Specialist utilizing HHA Exchange System Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
• Familiarity with laws related to debt collection Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
• Comfortable working with targets Patience and ability to manage stress Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
