What You’ll Be Working On
- Work with children/youth on the Autism Spectrum as well as a variety of other complex diagnoses.
- Educate patients and family members, keep detailed records relating to patient conditions
- Assess patients regularly, monitor progress toward treatment goals.
- Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for corrective action and process improvement
- Promote positive work environment, collaborate with team members on patient care
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Weekly Occupational Therapist supervision and communication.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Licensed or ability to be licensed in the state of Florida
- Pediatric Experience encouraged
- 3 years of experience preferred, but passionate new graduates encouraged to apply
- Experience working in a home health setting
- Ability to independently treat patients by developing and following an established therapy plan of care
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships with patients
- Self-starter with a strong level of accountability and creativity.
