Description:
Senior Accountant to prepare companies' consolidated accounting functions including but not limited to consolidation, reporting, and billing. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, industry experience, and the Peoplesoft accounting system is a must for this temporary assignment as we want someone to hit the ground running. They will also do balance sheet reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and inter-company billings.
Financial Reporting
Prepare Santa Fe HealthCare and affiliates monthly consolidated financial statements including income statement, statement of net assets, balance sheet, variance analysis, and financial highlights.
Consolidation
Analyze intercompany activity and prepare monthly journal entries for various affiliates' books timely and accurate.
Collects affiliates' trial balances, prepares elimination journal entries, and upload affiliates' journal entries in Peoplesoft financial systems.
Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliation for SantaFe HealthCare, Haven, SantaFe HealthCare Management Group, and SantaFe Senior Living timely and accurate.
Prepare monthly intercompany charges summary matrix report and analysis.
Billings
Prepare accurate monthly intercompany invoices and timely and distribute invoices to related affiliates.
Prepare monthly intercompany management fees and submit them for approval.
Prepare accurate monthly premium equivalent invoices for affiliates and timely distribution to various organizations.
Miscellaneous
Support external audit requests by gathering various reports while ensuring accuracy.
Provide support to operations by providing various reports and assisting in projects when necessary.
Prepare a schedule for various topics in support of the budget process.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
3-5 Years Experience in Healthcare / Insurance Industry.
Working experience with Oracle PeopleSoft.
