Compensation: $110,000-$140,000 (Commensurate with experience) . Target annual bonus is 25% of base salary

Role Summary/Purpose
LCPS Management, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources executive to lead the function and team as the company continues to grow and evolve its Human Resource strategy to align with the continued growth and success of the business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with senior leaders to conceptualize and implement forward-leaning human capital strategies, enhance corporate culture, and fully engage a multifaceted workforce. Additionally, this person will have experience building a strong foundation of HR systems and processes.
He/she must be operationally and technically strong in all aspects of HR, business focused, adept at building great relationships, must bring deep acumen and intellectual curiosity about the business.
He/she must also possess exceptional advisory and influencing skills while developing others to succeed.
Most importantly, while this leader will provide strategic insight in defining and elevating the HR organization and how it supports the business, he/she also must be proactive and willing to work to achieve operational excellence in the people practices and transactions.

This leader’s mandate will include leading a team of two HR professionals to create integrated and aligned strategies for talent acquisition, talent management, career pathing, total rewards, learning and organization development, payroll, employee relations, employee communications, HR technology, and employee and community engagement.
Essential/Core Accountabilities
- Continue to build and lead the HR function to successfully support the success of the business objectives by evaluating Vicar’s Landing’s strategic business plans and near-term organizational priorities and developing the organizational capabilities to achieve these.
- Maintain the succession planning process to ensure a pipeline of leadership talent and identify and address gaps.
- Align Human Capital projects, goals, and objectives with the needs of the business keeping in mind budgetary considerations.
- Evaluate the current compensation programs across the company and create a roadmap to improve the broad-based and incentive pay programs for the diverse employee population.
- Champion and lead the planning, development, communication, and implementation of talent management programs and processes to create a competitive advantage through a highly competent and motivated workforce. Create a framework for developing early career employees and first and second level managers across the organization.
- Evaluate the recruiting function and create a roadmap to improve the function’s operational capability and talent pipeline.
- Evolve the talent acquisition strategy related to employer branding, talent channel development, candidate sourcing, engagement, assessment, metrics, and analytics. Strengthen Vicar’s Landing’s employment brand to attract the best talent that will differentiate Vicar’sLanding in the marketplace and engage employees behind the vision, values, and culture.
- Architect and implement a unified internal communications strategy across the organization that helps achieve a workforce that is highly engaged.
- Integrate the people and HR practices for newly acquired or developed businesses and contribute to the due diligence for acquisition deals. As the company continues to grow, this individual will be responsible for organizational design changes. Additionally, the HR leader will be responsible for assessing the culture of the acquired companies and integrating their culture into the Vicar’s Landing culture.
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Be an energetic leader and employee advocate; motivate and inspire an agile and performance driven culture; be a culture carrier and the eyes and ears for the senior team; be attuned to the pulse and climate of the organization.
- Develop and execute a strategy to enhance leadership skills across the organization.
- Provide advice and counsel to all levels of managers around performance management, training, and development to encourage strong employee relations and engagement throughout the entire organization.
- Investigate grievances from employees for the purpose of reaching resolutions that provide a healthy work environment.
- Administer the bi-annual employee satisfaction survey. Analyze the results and create action plans to address weak spots and improve retention.
- Actively participate with the HR subgroup of our consortium organization, Novare, to share best practices and learn from other organizations within the consortium.
- Complete other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of 10 years related experience or associate’s degree with 15 years of related experience.
- Depth and Breadth of HR Experience: The Human Resources Executive will ideally bring at 10+ years of HR experience and working for a small to mid-size organization (500 to 5,000 employees).
- Relevant Industry Experience: Service and hospitality experience is preferred with an emphasis on companies with large, highly multifaceted workforces.
- Technical Experience: Has designed, implemented Human Resources functional and system build out, and upgraded People/ HR processes, operations, and systems and is proficient in the Microsoft suite of tools.
- Executive Presence and Proactive Leadership: A leader with the ability to execute quickly and decisively and be genuinely enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to complex problems and high level of emotional intelligence, ability to guide/lead/push/drive and know when and how to manage by influence.
