Electrical Estimator/Project Manager Full-time Job

We are looking for Estimators to run multi-family housing, assisted living and/or retail projects. Electical Estimator will be expected to properly collect paperwork needed within our office, and to recognize and act on the performance of an employee under your supervision. Estimators must keep detailed accurate records, answer questions confidently, and communicate efficiently with our home office.

General Responsibilities:

• Actively seek bid opportunities
• Review plans and specs to create proposal
• Review alternative or VE opportunities with clients
• Create and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
• Create documents needed to turn project over to PM
• Coordinates with project lead to determine layouts, methods of installation, code requirements, etc.
• Bid change orders as needed
• Assist with questions about the project

Requirements

• Ability to read prints and specifications
• Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade and code requirements
• Thorough understanding of the industry and market
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize, coordinate and plan
• Experience with estimating software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
