We are seeking a talented and determined Architectural Designer for our Vero Beach, Floriday office. We are also seeking an Architectural Designer for the following locations:
- Maitland, Florida
- Hamilton, New Jersey
- Camden, New Jersey
- Springfield, Pennsylvania
Architectural Designers have an exciting opportunity to work on both local and national projects while gaining valuable client facing experience. Additionally, you will have opportunities to participate in activities and initiatives organized and led by our Emerging Professionals Group.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic production drawings within established Firm Standards, industry standards, and relevant code
- Architectural site surveys
- Develop project backgrounds in REVIT
- Assimilate written project basis of design direction, detailed drawings, and verbal/written instructions to perform assigned tasks
- Assist Project Architects and Project Managers in researching and obtaining project related information on all phases of a project and produces accurate and complete drawings, documents, and reports
- Visualize and plan graphic presentation
- Recommend design changes, when appropriate, to Project Architect and Project Managers
- May assist with coordination of outside engineers and consultant
- Assist Project Architects and Project Managers with meeting minutes and meeting coordination
- Participate in marketing related activities including but not limited to design charrettes, committee activities, presentation board development, proposal compilation, visual presentation materials development and editing, photography and other marketing support duties as deemed appropriate
- Attend outside meetings with clients or perspective clients
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, Skill Sets:
- Graduate of a 5-year accredited architectural program; or achieved a Master's in Architecture; or combination of education and experience with eligibility to sit for the Architectural Registration Exams (ARE's)
- 1 year of experience working in an architectural firm required (may be achieved through co-op or past internship arrangements unless you’re a recent graduate that meets the above education criteria)
- LEED designation is a plus (required after 2 years of employment which is paid for by Spiezle)
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, Enscape, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, Windows, and Microsoft Office products required
- Deltek experience a plus, but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
- Past experience with masonry/steel building project types preferred but will train
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility
- Possesses a positive, can-do disposition with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and set and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Pay: $39,547.10 - $55,000.00 per year
